Using a Promo Code on a Planadar Plan

A promo code takes money off Planadar's own subscription plans (Growth, Professional and Scale). It is separate from the discount codes an organizer can create for their own event's tickets.

How to use one

1. Sign in with your organizer account and open Pricing.
2. Choose Have a promo code?, enter the code and select Apply. A code that comes in a link (/pricing?code=...) is checked for you automatically.
3. You'll see what the code gives you, for example "30% off for the first 12 months". Then pick your plan and continue to checkout. The discount appears on the Stripe checkout page before you pay.

Good to know

• Each code has its own rules: which plans it covers, how long the discount lasts (your first payment, a number of months, or as long as you subscribe), a start and end date, and how many times it can be used.
• New customers only: many codes can't be used by someone who has paid before.
• Some codes belong to one email address. A beta tester's founding-member code works only with the email address they joined the beta with. It can be used once.
• One code per checkout. Your free trial still applies, and the discount starts with your first charge.
• If a code is refused, the message says why: it has expired, has been used, isn't active yet, doesn't cover the plan you chose, or isn't valid. Too many wrong attempts in an hour pauses code entry for a while.
• Codes apply to subscription plans, not the one-time Single Event pass.
