Duplicating Events & Annual Event Cloning

Run a similar event more than once? Instead of rebuilding from scratch, duplicate an event you've already set up. Planadar copies the whole configuration into a fresh draft you can tweak and publish.

How to duplicate an event

  1. Go to My Dashboard → My Events.
  2. Hover the event card and click the Duplicate icon (⧉).
  3. Choose an option:
    • Duplicate — an exact copy with the same dates.
    • Duplicate for next year — a copy with every date rolled forward one year (see below).
  4. Confirm. You'll land in the new draft's guided setup to review and publish.

What gets copied

A duplicate carries over everything that defines the event:

The new event is created as an unpublished Draft titled "… (Copy)".

What is NOT copied

A duplicate starts fresh, so none of the previous event's activity comes along:

Annual event cloning (Growth plan and above)

Running the same event every year? Duplicate for next year does the tedious part for you: it duplicates the event and rolls every date forward by one year in a single step — the event dates, every session time, the check-in window, and ticket sales windows.

Running this kind of event regularly? Save a template instead

The same (⧉) menu has a third option, Save as template, which stores the setup so you can create new events from it any time rather than copying one event repeatedly. See Saving an Event as a Template & Reusing It.
