Badge Printing Guide
Design Your Badge
- Select an event, then open Event Day Tools → Design Name Badges, Event Console → Name Badge Designer, or Organizer Panel → Name Badge Designer
- Choose Design New Badge, use a template, or start from scratch
- Drag elements onto canvas:
- Name field
- Company
- Role
- QR code
- Logo
- Custom images
Customize Layout
- Adjust font sizes and colors
- Position elements with drag & drop
- Use alignment guides
- Preview before printing
Print Options
Individual Badges
- Search for attendee
- Preview their badge
- Print single badge
Bulk Printing
- Filter attendees, then select all visible eligible registrations
- Add to print queue
- Print in batches
Secure Check-In Badges
- Planadar authorizes every badge QR before printing
- Compact signed credentials keep printed QR codes clear and fast to scan
- Pending, denied, refunded, lost, and revoked badges are blocked
- Use the badge action menu to revoke or reissue a credential
- Reissuing a badge invalidates older printed copies
- Badge export is blocked when the QR would print below its safe minimum size
- Using a template returns you to the Print tab with that template selected
Printer Settings
- Choose one-label-per-page or tiled Letter/A4 output
- Enter exact dimensions in inches, centimeters, or millimeters
- Use 100% or Actual Size and disable browser headers and footers
- Set to highest quality
- Test print first
- Keep extra badges on hand
Pro Tip: Print VIP badges on special colored paper!
