Earning Points on Planadar

When you earn points

Points aren't always on — what you can earn depends on how gamification is configured:

• Event actions (event & session check-in, event ratings, photos, polls, Q&A, challenges, and the event leaderboard) only award points when the organizer has turned on Gamification for that specific event. Each point type can be toggled individually, so an event might award points for check-ins but not for ratings. If an event doesn't use gamification, those actions earn nothing.
• Platform-wide activity (login streaks, completing your profile, referrals, and the global badges / achievements / leaderboard) is available when Planadar's platform gamification is enabled.

So the points below are the standard values when the relevant gamification is enabled — the exact opportunities vary from event to event based on the organizer's settings.

• Event check-in: 100 points
• Session check-in: 50 points
• Event rating: 25 points
• Upload event photo: 20 points

Networking

• First connection: 25 points
• Each new connection: 10 points
• Share business card: 5 points
• Send message: 5 points

Engagement

• Poll participation: 15 points
• Q&A question: 20 points
• Discussion post: 15 points
• Complete challenge: 50-500 points

Profile

• Complete profile: 50 points
• Add business card: 25 points
• Verify email: 10 points

Multipliers & Bonuses

• Streak Bonus: +10% per day (max 50%)
• Early Bird: First 100 check-ins get 2x points
• VIP Events: Some events offer bonus points

Point Milestones

• 1,000 points: Bronze tier
• 5,000 points: Silver tier
• 15,000 points: Gold tier
• 50,000 points: Platinum tier
