Achievements celebrate your journey on Planadar. From your first event registration to becoming a networking pro, every milestone is recognized with unique badges!

Note: Achievements and badges are platform-wide gamification, available when Planadar's platform gamification is enabled. A few event-specific badges only appear when that event's organizer has turned on Gamification.

Achievement System Overview

What Are Achievements?

Achievements are special milestones you unlock by completing specific actions or reaching goals. Each achievement:

• Awards points (50-500 pts)
• Grants a unique badge
• Shows on your profile
• Contributes to your level

Badge Tiers:

• 🥉 Bronze: Beginner milestones
• 🥈 Silver: Intermediate accomplishments
• 🥇 Gold: Advanced achievements
• 💎 Platinum: Elite status
• 🏆 Legendary: Ultra-rare recognition

🎯 Participation Achievements

First Timer Series:

• First Event: Register for your first event (50 pts)
• First Check-In: Check into an event (75 pts)
• First Session: Attend a session (50 pts)
• Early Bird: Register 30+ days early (100 pts)
• Regular Attendee: Attend 5 events (200 pts)
• Event Veteran: Attend 10+ events (500 pts)

Engagement Master:

• Pollster: Vote in 10 polls (75 pts)
• Curious Mind: Ask 5 Q&A questions (100 pts)
• Contributor: Post 10 discussion topics (150 pts)
• Influencer: Get 50 discussion upvotes (250 pts)

🤝 Networking Achievements

Connection Builder:

• First Connection: Accept first connection request (50 pts)
• Networker: Reach 10 connections (100 pts)
• Super Networker: Reach 50 connections (250 pts)
• Network Giant: Reach 100+ connections (500 pts)

Communication Champion:

• Ice Breaker: Send first message (50 pts)
• Conversationalist: Exchange 50 messages (150 pts)

• 3-Day Streak: Login 3 days in row (50 pts)

• Dedication: Login 90 days in row (1,000 pts)
• Legend: Login 365 days in row (5,000 pts + Legendary badge)

Check-In Streaks:

• Serial Attendee: Check into 3 events in row (100 pts)
• Event Fanatic: Check into 5 events in row (250 pts)
• Professional Networker: Check into 10 events in row (500 pts)

🎓 Learning Achievements

Knowledge Seeker:

• Curious: Complete first challenge (75 pts)
• Challenge Accepted: Complete 5 challenges (200 pts)
• Challenge Master: Complete 20 challenges (500 pts)
• Lifelong Learner: Attend 10 educational sessions (400 pts)

Certificate Collector:

• Certified: Earn first certificate (100 pts)
• Multi-Certified: Earn 5 certificates (300 pts)
• Certificate Pro: Earn 10+ certificates (600 pts)

🌟 Social Achievements

Community Leader:

• Helpful: Get "Best Answer" in Q&A 5 times (200 pts)

Unlocking Achievements

How Achievements Unlock

Automatic Detection:

• System monitors your actions
• Unlocks trigger when criteria met
• Instant notification
• Badge added to profile

Notification Types:

• 🔔 In-app notification
• 📧 Email (if enabled)
• 📱 Push notification (mobile)
• 🎊 Achievement popup animation

Claiming Achievement:

1. Notification appears
2. Click View Achievement
3. See badge details
4. Points auto-credited
5. Badge visible on profile

Tracking Progress

View Achievement List:

1. Navigate to Dashboard
2. Click Progress tab
3. Select Achievements section
4. See all achievements (locked & unlocked)

Progress Indicators:

• 🔒 Locked: Not yet unlocked (shows requirements)
• 🔓 In Progress: Shows current progress (e.g., "5/10 events")
• ✅ Unlocked: Completed (shows unlock date)

Progress Bars:

• Visual bar shows completion percentage
• Hover for exact numbers
• Click for detailed breakdown

Hidden Achievements

Secret Unlocks:

• Not shown in achievement list
• Discovered by completing specific rare actions
• Surprise mechanic for exploration
• Often tied to Easter eggs or special events

• Night Owl: Check into event after midnight
• Globe Trotter: Attend events in 3 continents
• Triple Crown: Complete 3 challenges in one day
• Speed Demon: Register and check in same day

Showcasing Achievements

Profile Badge Display

Badge Showcase:

• Top 6 badges shown on profile
• Choose which to display
• Drag to reorder
• Update anytime

How to Customize:

1. Go to Profile → Edit Profile
2. Scroll to Badge Showcase
3. Click Manage Badges
4. Select 6 badges to display
5. Drag to reorder
6. Save changes

Badge Strategy:

• Impressive: Show highest-tier badges first
• Relevant: Match profile theme (networking pro = networking badges)
• Unique: Display rare/limited badges
• Recent: Showcase latest achievement

Full Collection:

• Access via Profile → Achievements
• All unlocked badges displayed
