On-Demand Content Library Guide

Watch a session you missed. The On-Demand tab of an event lists the streams that have a recording.

Accessing On-Demand Content

1. Go to the event page
2. Click the "On-Demand" tab
3. Search or filter, then click Watch Recording

A stream appears here once the organizer has added the address of its recording to the stream, after the stream has ended. Planadar does not record streams itself: the streaming platform (YouTube, Vimeo, Zoom and so on) keeps the recording, and the organizer pastes its address into the stream. If the tab is empty, no recording has been added yet.

A recording follows the Who can watch setting of its stream. For a stream that is for registered attendees you need to be signed in and registered for the event to play it; otherwise you are told to sign in or to register.

What the Library Shows

• A card for each recording, with its title, description, track, date and length (from the scheduled start to the end of the stream)
• At the top: how many recordings there are, how many tracks, and the total of the peak audiences of the live streams
• Search by title, description or track, and Filter by Track

Watching a Recording

• A YouTube or Vimeo recording plays in the page with that platform's own controls
• A video file (.mp4, .webm) plays in your browser's own player, with its controls
• Any other address is shown in a frame in the page. Some sites do not allow that, so there is always an Open the recording in a new tab link under the player
• Once a stream has ended, its own page plays the recording too, for the people who may watch it

Tips

• Use the track filter to find the sessions of one track
• If a recording does not start in the page, open it in a new tab
• A recording that says to sign in or to register is for registered attendees: register for the event (or sign in) and open it again
